On Thursday, May 6, 2023, the University of Illinois Springfield had its first campus-wide talent hunt put together by Ritmo, Flow y Son, and the UIS Student Activities Committee.
The event, which kicked off at 6 p.m., saw contestants across different nationalities and genres display their talents through singing, drumming, poem recitations, and dance.
After two hours of rigorous competition, the best performers were awarded winners. They were:
First position: Gloria Bajlozi & Group
First Runner-Up: Vinny Sridhar Kaza
Second Runner-Up: Najee Yarbrough
