On Thursday, April 20, the Brookens Library overhang was the location for earth lovers to gather from all over the UIS campus to celebrate Earth Day. This event was put together by the Green Fee Committee and UIS Community Garden Club. The attendees were given canvas totes, plants, seed packets, and an opportunity to pot their seeds onsite. The two-hour event showed us how to take care of the earth by making it green.
