Many people are curious about how students and teachers keep themselves active.  Athletes in particular must keep themselves in shape for future games they must endure for the remaining seasons. In fact, people in general need to keep themselves active to stay healthy. The best place for that on campus is The Recreation and Activity Center (TRAC) where there are different weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, stair climbers and even a full-on track that circles the entire gym on the second floor.

Ola Arogundala, one of the UIS students, is a sophomore here at UIS, and who says he has worked at TRAC for a few months and enjoys working as a gym attendant. He mentions that he sees a lot of students who come in and out of the gym, whether they are athletes, faculty, staff or students. When Ola was asked how the trainers were at the gym, he mentioned that they have a few of them there, but Caleb was the best one he knew, who knew how to work with every student. He says Caleb has taught him everything about workouts and the best nutrition to help anyone stay healthy. Ola also notes that there is an open gym for everyone to play basketball or tennis daily, unless there is a scheduled sporting event taking place.
