UIS Study Looking at Family Effects on Mental Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic
As psychology undergraduate students here at the University of Illinois Springfield, we have felt it necessary to be at the forefront of researching the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our student population. As researchers, we aim to use these unprecedented times to study how this pandemic has affected your mental health as students, with the specific aim of identifying how family dynamics may play a role. If you would be interested in having your voice heard by participating in this voluntary, independent and university-approved study, you can do so here. If possible, please consider sharing this study with any other UIS students so that we can better understand the effects of this pandemic as an institution and as a society.
We hope you are faring well during these tumultuous times by maintaining your mental health. If you or anyone you know needs someone to speak to, you can contact the Counseling Center at (217) 206-7122.
Have a great rest of your semester, and remember: we are always United in Safety!
