After the departure of UIS Men’s head soccer coach Adam Hall, Nick digs in on the state of UIS athletics and what he feels is a mishandling of what can be consistently successful athletic programs that gets overlooked. Then, in this week’s Prairie Star update, we have both men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and track & field all in action this week in what is a great weekend to be a UIS Prairie Star fan. Nick also gives his input on the Teofimo Lopez v. Jermaine Ortiz WBO Super Lightweight title bout that happened that weekend before ending with an update on the NCAA investigation into University Tennessee and the NLRB ruling on Dartmouth student-athletes being classified as employees.
