In its editorial of March 5, 2012, New York Times wrote that US Judge Richard Cebull should resign because of his sending racist emails from the Courthouse chambers against President Obama and against blacks.

Many blacks might be serving unjust prison sentences either because of Judge Cebull’s prejudicial instructions to the juries or because of abnormally harsher and longer sentences to blacks due to his prejudice.

Equity demands that not only Judge Cebull be impeached as soon as possible, but also, a mechanism be set up to review all the cases involving blacks ever handled by the judge in his capacity as judge during his entire life time. Where injustice is involved, we cannot say that monetary cost will be too high.
