This exciting new competition is open to both college and high school students. You’ll get hands-on experience trading products like corn, soybeans, and live cattle in a simulated market environment and learn about how various factors such as supply, demand, weather, and global events impact commodity prices. The new competition is Free for students, and it is organized by the same faculty members who successfully ran a high school stock trading competition in the last three Springs.

- Platform: StockTrak (online trading simulator)
• Capacity: Limited to 100 participants in total
• Competition Dates: October 1st – October 31st - UIS, Lincoln Land, and local high school students are eligible to participate in this competition.
• Closing Event: On-campus celebration on November 18 at UIS Student Union

If you are in high school, please send an email to one of the competition organizers (see below) with the name and email address of a teacher in your school. More detailed information about the competition will be shared later in September. High school students will receive relevant information through their teachers.
