Advertising

The Journal is an award-winning student newspaper. We distribute a total of 2,500 print copies each Wednesday throughout the UIS campus and to several Springfield locations.  1,300 of those copies are directly mailed to students living in student housing. The online edition, www.uisobserver.com is read by visitors throughout the United States and abroad.

Special editions of  The Journal include Beyond and The Guide.

 The Guide, published July 25, is mailed to all incoming students, distributed around campus, and delivered to several Springfield locations. Beyond is our features magazine, in place of the newspaper. This special edition is published twice a year: once in March and once in May.

We accept print advertising, online advertising, inserts and sticky note advertising.
